Keto Chicken Skillet with Parmesan Garlic Cream Sauce is quick, easy, delicious, and done in 30 minutes!

INGREDIENTS
Chicken
  • 3 chicken breasts (split into half cutlets)
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon of dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
Cream sauce
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 1 1/2 cup organic heavy whipping cream
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 small colored bell peppers (green, red, and yellow)
  • 4 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 1/4 cup parsley
  • 1/4 teaspoon rosemary
  • 1/4 teaspoon thyme
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • pepper (to taste)
  • 6 ounces mushrooms (optional)
INSTRUCTIONS
  • In a bowl mix together the rosemary, garlic powder, thyme, salt, pepper, and onion powder
  • Sprinkle mixture over both sides of the chicken and coat well.
  • On medium high heat melt the butter and olive oil in a large skillet and then place in the chicken. If your skillet is small just cook in batches. Cook chicken for 8 to 10 minutes on each side making sure to get it done.
  • Remove the chicken to a plate.
  • Using the same pan, melt the butter and add mushrooms (optional), peppers, garlic, salt, and pepper and saute' for about 5 minutes. Stir mixture well scraping the bottom of the skillet to include brown bits.
  • Stir in the thyme, rosemary, and parsley and cook for a couple of minutes allowing the flavors to incorporate.
  • Mix in the heavy whipping cream and cook for additional 2 to 4 minutes.
  • Add the Parmesan cheese and continue to cook for 8 to 10 minutes.
  • Sprinkle the top with parsley and serve hot.
